With a covered deck, complete with bubbling hot tub, this gorgeous hideaway is perfect for a romantic escape or a solo adventure. And, to make your getaway even more special, you can indulge in a luxury treatment at the onsite spa.
Pine Lodge is really rather charming and from the moment you arrive you will feel the stresses of everyday life melt away. Inside the warm hues of the honey-coloured wood give a cosy vibe and the clever open plan design is light and inviting. The kitchen-area has all you'll need to cook during your holiday, including a dishwasher and of course a fridge with ice-box to keep your drinks cool in summer! There's a gorgeous king-sized bed positioned so you can enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the countryside and do keep an eye out for the local population of deer, kites and rabbits who live here. You will also find a separate shower-room with rainfall shower, ideal for freshening up after a busy day exploring. Getaways can be enjoyed here year-round thanks to the warming under-floor heating.
Outside, the covered deck is home to a bubbling hot tub and barbecue kitchen-area. From dawn until dusk, you can enjoy the blissful views and when night falls, twinkling fairy lights will illuminate your magical outside space. Dining facilities and comfy outdoor seating are perfectly placed overlooking the delightful meadow. Your next door neighbours at Laurel Lodge (5849) sit to one side, with the same view but tucked out of sight.
The on site spa is utterly dreamy. You can choose one free spa treatment for one guest to use during your stay, this is to be arranged direct through the owner. You can choose from luxury treatments including facials, massage and scrubs.
You may decide to relax and rejuvenate and simply enjoy your tranquil surroundings. If you do choose to travel further afield there's a plethora of adventures to be had close by. The Norfolk Broads National Park has rivers and broads bursting with wildlife. Whether you are a walker, cyclist, nature lover or water sports enthusiast, there is plenty to keep everyone happy here.
The quaint market town of Beccles is a short drive away, situated on the banks of the pretty River Waveney where you will find a lovely collection of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Beccles Quay overlooks the river, ideal for paddle boarders or perhaps a cruise along the river. Swimmers should head for the local lido, an outdoor heated pool open year-round.
Perhaps a day at the coast is in order. Take the car to Lowestoft, a traditional seaside town with long sandy beaches and a promenade where you can indulge in ice cream or fresh fish and chips, it's what holidays are made for. However you plan to spend your getaway, Pine Lodge is ideally placed for exploring the best of both Norfolk and Suffolk.
