KingSurrounded by peaceful woodland in the charming Cornish hamlet of Gweek on the Lizard peninsula, Skapya is a beautifully crafted treehouse, hand-built from the finest cedar to blend beautifully with its treetop setting. With a blissful Dutch loveseat hot tub and fire-pit in a secluded outside clearing, this delightful retreat is perfect for a romantic getaway or solo adventure.
From the moment you step onto the wooden walkway to your holiday abode you will be enchanted. Cleverly crafted to naturally curve through the treetops, Skapya has been exquisitely finished to the highest of standards and beautifully furnished throughout in Nordic inspired style. The beautiful Scandinavian bespoke style kitchen has all the equipment you will need to cook a holiday meal, and you will also find a cosy sofa in the open living area with Smart TV to catch the latest movie. A cute Ekol log-burner will keep you warm throughout the seasons, and this has a handy integrated oven and hotplate too. The separate shower-room is oh so stylish and perfect for a refreshing shower after a busy day exploring.
At the far end the bedroom awaits with a gorgeous king-size bed and private balcony; four metres above the ground this gives a bird's eye view of the tree canopy, resident owls, chiffchaffs and bats. With statement lighting, Velux windows and French windows, this gorgeous treehouse is perfect for a cosy stay throughout the year.
Outside a secluded woodland oasis awaits with Dutch loveseat hot tub, fire-pit and seating area. From dawn until dusk and under twinkling stars you can enjoy this tranquil space, the perfect antidote to busy lives.
Sister treehouse Kalmynsi is 30 metres away, but both are cleverly set apart so you can be assured of privacy during your stay.
Surrounded by serene Cornish woodland and fields you may decide to spend your days relaxing in peace and tranquility. If you do decide to explore further afield the Lizard peninsula has lots to offer.
On the doorstep, the charming local village of Gweek has a shop for provisions, cafe with estuary views, traditional pub and the renowned seal sanctuary. Head out in the car for dramatic Kynance Cove or Lizard Point, the most southerly part of England; don't forget your camera, the views are epic! The coast path runs in both directions from here and you will be blessed with the most amazing ocean vistas along the way. Gear Farm is renowned locally for the best pasties and the Potager cafe in Constantine serves fabulous locally-produced meals.
The Helford is a myriad of inlets, quiet coves and pretty villages and Skapya is perfectly placed for exploring this very special unspoilt part of Cornwall.
